With over 25 years of nursing experience, I combine clinical knowledge with a deep understanding of how the nervous system influences energy, breathing, recovery, and overall well-being — especially in women who have spent years holding everything together.
Clinical Leadership to a Personal Wake-Up Call
In 2020, while serving as an Infection Control Nurse Manager overseeing more than 300 medical practices during the height of the pandemic, my career — and my health — took an unexpected turn.
The long hours, constant vigilance, and sustained pressure began to show up in my body as anxiety, heart palpitations, and significant shortness of breath. After initially being misdiagnosed with anxiety, I was later diagnosed with Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD) — a condition in which the vocal cords constrict during inhalation, making breathing feel difficult and frightening.
That experience changed the way I understood stress — not as something to manage better or push through, but as something the body needed help recovering from.
Purpose
Personal Experience to Professional Purpose
Through my own healing journey, I began to recognize the powerful role the nervous system plays in physical symptoms like VCD. I learned that my body wasn’t broken — it was stuck in a prolonged survival response, doing exactly what it had learned to do under sustained stress.
As I explored body-based, nervous system-supportive practices, something shifted. When my nervous system felt safer, my symptoms began to ease. Recovery became possible — not through force, effort, or control, but through support and safety.
This realization led me to expand my work beyond VCD-specific coaching and into helping women recognize and interrupt chronic stress patterns that show up in many forms — overwhelm, fatigue, anxiety, changes in breathing, and that familiar tired but wired feeling.

Today, I specialize in teaching women the love language of their nervous system through simple, natural practices that support stress recovery and rebuild resilience.
